{"id":7976,"date":"2020-01-02T14:09:22","date_gmt":"2020-01-02T14:09:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifeforachild.org\/?p=7976"},"modified":"2022-05-28T08:18:04","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T08:18:04","slug":"011-franco-age-13-bolivia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeforachild.org\/2020\/01\/02\/011-franco-age-13-bolivia\/","title":{"rendered":"011 Franco, age 13, Bolivia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Footprints of destiny<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Life penetrates gently<br \/>\nthrough the small holes of my existence<br \/>\ncaressing each strand of my being,<br \/>\npushed by the need to survive,<br \/>\naccompanied by a stupid hope<br \/>\nthat lives captive of a destiny already marked,<br \/>\nthe fragility of a sweet body<br \/>\nthat slowly fades<br \/>\nin the delicate lips of the eternal Morpheus.<br \/>\nSometimes I find myself in the need to rewrite my destiny,<br \/>\nbut\u2026 the smoke, it does not give in<br \/>\nand my life slows down and stops, freezing time.<br \/>\nIf we were replaceable as some say,<br \/>\nwe would not leave a void in others.<br \/>\nI observe and observe&#8230;<br \/>\nThe rain that slides gently on the bell tower<br \/>\nas fragile and crystalline angels tears<br \/>\nas when one of us departs like a wind without destiny<br \/>\nonly accompanied by a spirit already overthrown.<br \/>\nWet but dry in feelings you slide away<br \/>\npenetrating and defiant.<br \/>\nCaressing my unstable vitality,<br \/>\nbut time may forgive everything, everything&#8230;<br \/>\nEverything?&#8230; except human dissatisfaction with the pleasures,<br \/>\nand the gluttony of delights that do not satisfy the need of a society,<br \/>\na society that ignores the suffering of its consequences.<br \/>\nOnly when you are cornered inside the diabetic arms<br \/>\nYou try the gel of indifference.<br \/>\nIndifference, imposed by a society marked by stereotypes<br \/>\nthat promote generations immersed in ignorance.<br \/>\nIgnorance from which arise industrial magnates and false politicians<br \/>\nwho put a price on your life.<br \/>\nOne person, which in millions is worth one more zero.<br \/>\nBut the urge to breathe is stronger than a number.<br \/>\nAnd so hope is a refuge for life.<br \/>\nLife, that fights in the face of adversity<br \/>\nof a physical and emotional instability.<br \/>\nEmotion that reaches a breaking point,<br \/>\nwhere existentialism takes you to the point of madness<br \/>\nAnd we think&#8230; is it possible???<br \/>\nIf a price would be put on our life, we would possibly be devalued<br \/>\nby small or large factory defects,<br \/>\nwhich make us unique and valuable,<br \/>\nbut society is not willing or fully prepared to accept it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Footprints of destiny Life penetrates gently through the small holes of my existence caressing each strand of my being, pushed by the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":8103,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"_uf_show_specific_survey":0,"_uf_disable_surveys":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[12],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7976","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-art2020"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
